Meet Claire - The Baking Scientist
Baking has always brought me peace and harmony after a hard day. Some of my fondest memories include baking with my family
and friends. From licking the beaters after my mom baked one of her famous cakes to eating the blueberries out of the muffin mix
when my dad made muffins on Sunday morning, I have not stopped baking since I could hold a spoon. I was the chocolate-chip
cookie queen during grade school and high school. I baked for almost all of our family functions and learned early on that love is
the key to perfect food.
I attended the Culinary Institute of America to perfect my craft. Later I studied the mad science of food at Ohio State University
and graduated with a BS in Food Science and Business Management. In July of 2007, I starting a home-based cupcake bakery. I
am finally doing what I love and I feel so blessed!
